LIQUID TENSION EXPERIMENT LIVE CD AND DVD RELEASES: 2009 will see Ytsejam Records branch out with releases by select Dream Theater side projects. Coming this Spring will be the long awaited live CD and DVD releases by Liquid Tension Experiment. But before that they will release LIQUID TRIO EXPERIMENT 2 - "When The Keyboard Breaks: Live In Chicago" CD. This is the infamous "jamarathon" which took place at LTE's June 25th 2008 show in Chicago when Jordan Rudess' keyboard broke down. NEW QUEENSRYCHE RELEASE COMING SOON: The album will be titled "American Soldier". Geoff Tate says in the band's myspace blog: "American Soldier is more than a concept album; it is a statement of mission, a revelation of purpose, and a march for understanding. One thing that it is not is political. “People have a tendency to misconstrue the difference between political and social issues. This record is not political at all,” affirms Tate. “It’s very much a statement of the soldiers; it’s where they are at and what they have experienced. I hope the album, as a whole, is a statement that can get them talking to each other and begin that process of connecting that needs to happen between people."

BELIEVER NEW CD RELEASE: The band's long awaited new album will be released on March 17th, 2009. After a long hiatus, Believer is back with an intense fury and the band’s new record, Gabriel, once again sees Believer conquering new musical and artistic territory. With an upgraded sound and songwriting that has been alluded to as a “sick, insane cross between Tool, Voivod, NIN, and Destruction”, Believer’s 4th release Gabriel shows a band simply not focused on regurgitating and reliving their past. To this end, Bachman and Daub have surrounded themselves with new creative blood in keyboardist/programmer Jeff King, guitarist Kevin Leaman and bassist/programmer Elton Nestler. BIG BIG TRAIN LINEUP CHANGE: The band is currently working on their next release called "The Underfall Yard". Here are the news from Greg Spawton regarding this change: "With the exception of Bard, Steve Hughes has drummed on all of our albums so far. However, Steve is busy with other projects at the moment and we have decided to continue and develop our work with Nick D'Virgilio for The Underfall Yard and future releases. (...) Sean Filkins joined BBT as our vocalist for the Gathering Speed release and went on to feature on The Difference Machine. Sean provided some beautiful vocal performances at a time when I was developing a different style of writing for BBT (a more, if you will, 'progressive' sound) and I would like to thank him for his contribution to Big Big Train." Greg will anounce their new singer's name and some biographical information about him very soon.
